About Straight Street Impact
Our passion is to serve others without reserve. So when we realized many people in our community do not have the means to complete regular household projects, we created Straight Street Impact to mobilize volunteers to put love into action by doing miscellaneous jobs for those in need. By seeking out and completing work projects such as building handicap ramps, making repairs, and meeting critical needs, the Straight Street Impact program provides a way to share the Gospel and leave a lasting impact on the lives of those served.
As scripture directs us, our focus is on serving anyone in a time of need, paying special attention to those living in poverty, widows, single mothers and the elderly. We believe through acts of love, we can leave a mark on the lives of others and lead them closer in their relationship with Christ.
Through partnerships with local churches, we identify those in need and equip each church with the necessary resources to complete weekend service projects. We rely on our church partners to identify needs and provide volunteers. Straight Street takes care of the rest.
